The Aberdare and District Angling Club are based in the Aberdare area of the Cynon Valley.
The association has one main reservoir, Nant Moel (12 acres) and large stretches of the River Cynon. The Aberdare And District Angling Club is a small association that is run by a dedicated number of fishing enthusiasts and elected committee members, whose aim is to provide quality fishing for a reasonable cost for people within the Cynon Valley (although out of area members are welcome).
The Nant Moel is regularly stocked throughout the season with rainbow trout reared locally. These are renowned for their hard fighting qualities. A large number of brown trout is also stocked in the reservoir. Disabled access is available.
For membership or day pass, please e-mail the association for more information.
