Management of the Manor was taken over in June 2016 with a focus on a family friendly venue. There is a program of events with something new each month, a children’s play room and lovely grounds to explore.
The refurbishment of Llanyrafon Manor was completed in 2012. The impressive building, a grade II listed building which has been restored according to CADW guidelines, is one of the oldest, non-religious buildings in Torfaen. Visitors to the centre will be able to learn about the history of the manor, enjoy refreshments in the café and even observe bats that have set up home in the grounds. The Manor has two rooms available to hire for meetings, weddings, parties: the Tudor Hall and the Great Chamber, each containing a number of period features.
