A hot bed of talent...
The Valleys has a rich history of entertainment and performance. Richard Burton and Anthony Hopkins hale from the west of the region, and the area provides some superb venues where some brilliant talent takes centre stage.
The Coliseum in Aberdare is a beautifully refurbished 1930’s theatre, whilst The Valleys newest cultural venue, the Met in Abertillery welcomes all the arts from amateur dramatics to blues festivals. Some theatres, such as the Parc & Dare, double up as cinemas, showing the latest releases and box office hits.
