Never a dull day

Our communities have a strong and vibrant cultural life, born of shared experiences in the industrial days of old.

The Valleys of south Wales are a place where people matter - a place where people get together for all kinds of festivals and events.  There's an annual programme, from our famous Nos Galan Road Race which welcomes in the New Year, to atmospheric Christmas festivities. And in the months in between there's a whole host of craft fairs, heritage days and historical re-enactments, and festivals that celebrate everything from food to literature and music to walking in our great outdoors.

Come along and join in!
