Valleys Guide
We’d like to take you on a trip around the towns and villages of the Valleys. There’s a lot of ground to cover, from hamlets tucked away on hillsides to large urban settlements, major shopping centres to towns strung out along narrow valley floors that seem to have no beginning and no end. Although not as highly populated as they were during their industrial heyday, the Valleys are still made up of busy, bustling communities. You’ll be surprised by what’s going on here amongst local communities that are modern and thriving while retaining the best of traditional values.
From the splendour of Cyfarthfa Castle in Merthyr Tydfil to the landscape of the Rhondda and Cynon Valleys.
