The Muni Arts Centre – a converted church situated in the heart of Pontypridd. Renown for its gigs featuring new Rhondda bands, this intimate venue’s varied programme also includes famous bands such as Lost Prophets, Funeral for a Friend and Alphabeat., comedy, children’s events, contemporary dance, cinema, exhibitions, and community events.
The venue also has a very adaptable auditorium that can be set up in theatre style seating (racked or flat), round tables, rows or ‘in the round’. There are also number of meeting rooms and flexible spaces (including the unique Circle Gallery), which can be hired at very competitive prices in accordance with the programming policy of the venue.

Road Directions
Using the M4 and A470: Leave the M4 at junction 32, then take the A470. Leave the A470 at the junction signposted to Pontypridd. At the very first roundabout, go straight-on. Move into the left hand lane and at the next roundabout turn left. Go through 2 sets of traffic lights and at the third, turn right between the Bus Station and the Police Station. Follow the road around to the back of the bus station and then up the steep one-way lane. This will get you to the Goods Yard car park at the back of The Muni. Go to the right of the building and down the small hill to get to the front entrance.

- On-Site café/restaurant - The Muni’s Footlights Café Bar is open from 9.00am until 7.00pm (when there is an evening performance), Monday – Friday. On Saturday, the opening times are 9.00am – 3.00pm. Continental Breakfast is available 9.00am – 11.00am, lunch is served 11.30am – 2.00pm. Tea, coffee and a range of light bites and snacks are available all day. Pre-performance meals can be ordered at least 24 hours in advance, subject to availability, from the Footlights Café Bar. The bar opens an hour before an evening performance and close at 11.00pm, unless otherwise advertised. You can order interval drinks at the bar, before the performance
