Type: Steam Railway
Travel back to the age of steam on one of Wales' most popular railways, where vintage trains make regular seven mile round trips through beautiful scenery into the Brecon Beacons National Park. Sit back, enjoy the ride and take in the lovely valley of the Taf Fechan and the Pontsticill reservoirs.
The railway's workshop, souvenir shop and licensed restaurant are located at Pant. They open one hour before the departure of the first train of the day.
Ramp access and modified toilets provide excellent facilities for the disabled, while one of the carriages on the train has been specially adapted for wheelchair-bound visitors.
At Pant, there is also a free car park, and a new footpath leading to a picnic site with a panoramic view of the valley.
